Channel Drain's

Quite often due to unfortunate layout or un-professional landscaping we find a common cause of rising and penetrating damp is caused by surface water "pooling" up against the base of an exterior wall, sometimes above the damp course and other times the cause of a failed damp course due to frost damage, spalding and saturation, the most effective way of preventing this, avoiding very costly landscaping and groundwork's is to install channel drains along the base of the wall below the damp course to direct the surface water into a nearby drain and reduce the effects of saturation.
